An Islamic teacher, Obasanmi Waliyullahi, is to cool his heels at Kirikiri Correctional Centre for 21 years for attempting to commit sexual assault by penetration and also engaged in indecent treatment of his 15-year-old pupil.
Justice Rahman Oshodi of the Ikeja Sexual Offences and Domestic Violence Court sentenced Waliyullahi, following his guilty plea to the two amended charge of attempted sexual assault by penetration and indecent treatment of a child.
